Desired Skills and Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP Prior experience with pediatric populations in early childhood or elementary settings Comfortable managing a range of communication disorders, from moderate to profound needs Strong interpersonal abilities; collaborative spirit with staff, students, and families Effective organization and adaptability in dynamic school settings
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students with speech and language concerns Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on identified student needs Deliver direct therapy services to a diverse caseload in K12, adapting methods as necessary Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to foster communication best practices in classrooms and at home Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school policies and special education guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams Enjoy the advantages of competitive weekly pay and a rewarding hourly rate between $40 and $60 per hour.
