Job Description

Overview Speech Language Pathologist - Acute Care in Winchester, New Hampshire. This travel assignment starts on 09/28/2026 and runs for 15 weeks in a long-term care (nursing home) setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,571 to $2,747, with guaranteed hours of 35 per week. The schedule is daytime, five days per week, with 8.5-hour shifts (08:00-16:30). Setting:
Long-term care (nursing home) environment Responsibilities Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with goals and care plans. Conduct bedside swallow evaluations and manage dysphagia in collaboration with the interprofessional team. Document assessments, progress notes, and therapy plans in the resident's chart; communicate progress to the care team. Educate residents, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques. Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and other therapists to support care and transition planning.
