9673304-08817 Job Description Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting students communication needs across three schools in the Edison, NJ area. This position allows flexibility, offering part-time or full-time schedulingwork 34 days per week, or expand to a 5-day week based on your preference and the district's needs. Help shape the academic and social success of a diverse caseload of approximately 6065 students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Qualifications and Experience:

Hold a valid New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist license. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required. Previous experience working with pediatric and school-based populations. Comfortable managing a caseload spanning K-12th grade, with assignments divided per school. Strong communication and collaboration skills, working closely with educators, support staff, and families. Adaptability to adjust treatment approaches for varying age groups and individual student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and provide speech-language therapy services to students with a variety of communication disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans and IEPs in compliance with NJ school requirements. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and engagement. Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and communication with parents and staff. Serve students onsite across three different schools, supporting their growth in both academic and social settings.
