9670858-08817 Job Description A rewarding opportunity awaits an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to provide coverage for a medical leave in a supportive educational setting near Edison, NJ. This contract assignment is set to begin on October 1, 2026, with an anticipated end date of November 20, 2026, and the potential to extend through the end of the semester. You'll have the advantage of starting early to shadow the current SLP, ensuring a seamless transition for students and team members. Work with a diverse PreK12th grade caseload of approximately 40 students, including some nonverbal children. Your expertise with low-tech AAC devices will be especially valued as you support students across various ability levels. This is a strictly in-person assignment, allowing you to build meaningful, face-to-face connections.

Desired Qualifications:

Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Current NJDOE (New Jersey Department of Education) Certification Experience with PreK12th grade students, including nonverbal populations Skill and familiarity with low-tech AAC devices Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Commitment to in-person service delivery
