Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This full-time, contract opportunity provides the chance to be part of a dedicated educational community from September 4th to June 25th, working 35 hours per week (8:15AM-3:15PM). The role centers on an elementary caseload, requiring skill, compassion, and a commitment to helping young learners thrive.

Key Qualifications:

Current and valid New Jersey SLP licensure required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Demonstrated experience working in a school-based setting, ideally with elementary students Proven ability to manage caseloads, perform comprehensive assessments, and deliver effective therapy and interventions Confident and adaptable within a school district environment Reliable transportation and readiness for daily commuting Willingness to complete onboarding requirements: TB test, physical, and fingerprints for both agency and district Please note: Candidates requiring CF supervision or applicants with only SLPA credentials cannot be considered due to supervision limits

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students Complete required assessments, evaluations, and progress reports as needed Develop and implement targeted intervention plans Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success Participate in IEP meetings and school-wide initiatives Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with school policies and state guidelines Experience each student's growth firsthand while enjoying clear structure and a consistent schedule.
