9674649-08817 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based setting near Edison, NJ. This full-time opportunity begins as soon as possible, with a caseload anticipated to focus on older students, primarily those in middle and high school. Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure as an
SLP ASHA
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Previous experience in a K-12 school environment, especially with adolescent or teen populations, is highly desirable Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and families
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, communication, or swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and school staff to support academic achievement Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for each student Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning Provide consultation and training for faculty and families as needed Youll have the chance to make a lasting impact in students lives while gaining valuable experience in a supportive educational environment.
