One of a Kind Therapy is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our Kearny team for approximately 6 hours per week during daytime/school hours . This is a great opportunity for an SLP who loves working with children but isn't looking for another full-time commitment. Whether you're looking to add a few hours to your current schedule or simply want a flexible position that works around the rest of your life, we'd love to meet you. Who We Are One of a Kind Therapy is a pediatric private practice founded and owned by a practicing therapist . We provide Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services in center-based programs throughout Northern New Jersey. We specialize in working with Autistic and neurodivergent children and believe therapy should be individualized, meaningful, and both fun and functional . You'll work as part of an interdisciplinary team where collaboration between Speech, OT, PT, families, and other professionals is an important part of what we do. Why This Position Is Different A small, consistent schedule. Approximately 6 hours per week without the commitment of another full-time position. School-day hours. No evenings or weekends. Flexible scheduling. We'll work with you to find a schedule that fits within our program hours. An interdisciplinary environment. Work alongside OT, PT, and other professionals and have opportunities for meaningful collaboration. Owned by a practicing therapist. Our practice was created by someone who understands firsthand what it's like to work directly with children and families. A school-style calendar. Our programs follow a school-year calendar with a 6-week summer session . What You'll Do Provide individualized speech and language therapy to pediatric clients Develop functional and meaningful treatment goals Create engaging therapy sessions based on each child's individual needs and interests Complete required documentation and progress monitoring Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals Work alongside OT, PT, and other members of the interdisciplinary team We're Looking for an
SLP Who:
Holds a current New Jersey Speech-Language Pathology license Has a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Enjoys working with children Is comfortable working with Autistic and neurodivergent clients Values collaboration and interdisciplinary care Is flexible, creative, and able to meet children where they are Believes therapy can be both purposeful and fun Pediatric experience is preferred, but finding the right person for our team is just as important to us.
