Part-Time Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Multiple Northern New Jersey Locations | School-Day Hours | W-2 Position | $57+/Hour Looking for a flexible pediatric position that can fit your schedule? One of a Kind Therapy is hiring part-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for several center-based programs throughout Northern New Jersey. Multiple locations and caseload sizes are available. Whether you want a small, consistent weekly caseload or are interested in more hours, we can discuss the locations and schedules that best fit your availability. All positions are W-2 employee positions and include paid sick time, paid qualifying travel time between centers, and access to a 401(k) plan with an employer match, subject to plan eligibility requirements. Who We Are One of a Kind Therapy is a pediatric private practice founded and owned by a practicing therapist. We provide Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services in center-based programs throughout Northern New Jersey. We specialize in working with Autistic and neurodivergent children and believe therapy should be individualized, meaningful, and both fun and functional . Our therapists work as part of an interdisciplinary team in which collaboration among Speech, OT, PT, families, caregivers, and other professionals is an important part of the care we provide. Flexible part-time hours Available hours vary by location, allowing you to choose a smaller caseload or pursue additional hours based on your availability and our current program needs. Multiple locations available Opportunities are available at several center-based programs throughout Northern New Jersey. School-day scheduling Positions are primarily scheduled during daytime and school hours, with no evening or weekend requirements. W-2 employment These are W-2 positions, providing the protections and benefits associated with employee status. Paid sick time Employees accrue paid sick time in accordance with New Jersey requirements and company policy. Paid travel time between centers When travel between assigned centers is required during the workday, qualifying drive time is paid at your regular hourly rate. 401(k) with employer match Eligible employees may participate in the company's 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match, subject to the terms and eligibility requirements of the plan. Interdisciplinary collaboration Work alongside OT, PT, and other professionals with opportunities for meaningful communication and collaboration. Therapist-owned practice Our practice was created by a therapist who understands firsthand what it is like to work directly with children, families, and interdisciplinary teams. School-style calendar Our programs generally follow a school-year calendar and include a six-week summer session . Paid documentation time Required documentation and progress-report time is compensated. We do not expect clinicians to complete required work off the clock. What You'll Do Provide individualized speech and language therapy to pediatric clients Develop functional, meaningful treatment goals Create engaging sessions based on each child's individual needs and interests Complete required documentation and progress monitoring Communicate and collaborate with families and caregivers Work alongside OT, PT, and other members of the interdisciplinary team Participate in team communication and care coordination as appropriate We're Looking for an
SLP Who:
Holds a current New Jersey Speech-Language Pathology license Has a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Enjoys working with children Is comfortable supporting Autistic and neurodivergent clients Values collaboration and interdisciplinary care Is flexible, creative, reliable, and able to meet children where they are Believes therapy can be both purposeful and fun Pediatric experience is preferred, but finding the right person for our team is equally important.
