A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

This assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through November 20th, offering a meaningful opportunity to support students' communication skills. Scheduled for two days per week, this role allows you to balance professional impact with personal flexibility. Qualifications:

Current SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required Experience working in school environments, preferably at the elementary level Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to assess, develop, and implement effective support plans Commitment to fostering positive outcomes for diverse student populations

Responsibilities:

Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for elementary students Design and implement individual or group therapy sessions in alignment with IEPs Work closely with teachers and support staff to integrate communication goals into classroom activities Monitor progress, compile data, and communicate findings with families and educational teams Uphold ethical and professional standards in all interactions and documentation
