Qualifications:

Current New Mexico state SLP license. New Mexico Teacher certification (NMPED required). Open to both Clinical Fellows (CF) and Certified Clinically Competent (CCC) SLPs. Experience in school-based settings or a strong interest in working with student populations. Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families.

Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language therapy services for elementary and secondary students, addressing a wide range of communication disorders. Complete screenings, assessments, and evaluations in accordance with IEP requirements and district procedures. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment programs and goals for students. Consult with teachers and other staff to support student learning and participation in the classroom. Maintain organized documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and required compliance paperwork.
