Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Exciting contract opportunity available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists interested in supporting middle school students. This flexible role is ideal for those passionate about helping young learners achieve their communication goals in a collaborative educational setting. The position focuses on delivering mandated speech services approximately 6 hours per week, with the potential to increase to 10-12 hours per week for candidates able to assist with evaluations, meetings, and additional service needs. Consistent availability is required on consecutive mornings, from 7:45 am to 11:00 am, to best serve the needs of the students and school schedule. This is currently expected as a year-long assignment but may adjust as internal staffing evolves.

Qualifications:

Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license and certification (CCC-SLP) required Previous experience providing speech services in a school-based setting strongly preferred Strong understanding of IEP processes, progress monitoring, and documentation Ability to adapt communication strategies to support students at the middle school level Skilled in collaboration with teachers, related service staff, and families

Responsibilities:
