Key Qualifications:
Current New York State SLP license is required Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates may be considered Experience working with school-aged children (K12) strongly preferred Knowledge of IEP processes and school documentation Excellent time management, interpersonal, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language evaluations and direct therapy to a diverse K12 caseload Develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and attend meetings as needed Collaborate with educators, families, and other school professionals to support student success Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines Consult and provide strategies to teachers and staff to facilitate communication in the classroom
