What You'll Need:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program NY state SLP licensure or eligibility, or Clinical Fellow (CFY) status Strong communication and organization skills Comfort working with children ages birth-3 in an early intervention setting Enthusiasm for team collaboration Eagerness to work in a new program, adapting as needs grow
Your Role Includes:
Providing individual and group speech therapy for a caseload of children, each with robust support: a dedicated 1:1 teacher's assistant and a special education teacher in each classroom Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans to support students' communication goals Collaborating with teachers, aides, parents, and your on-site supervisor, who offers mentorship and continual feedback (perfect for CFs!) Documenting progress and participating in team meetings to optimize each child's development Adapting to a flexible schedule, initially working a few hours a week and increasing up to 40 hours as caseloads expand through the 12-month position Enjoy the chance to grow alongside an innovative program while advancing your own professional journey.
