9672242-14094 Job Description Step into a dynamic school-based contract role for the full academic year supporting a dedicated caseload of 21 speech students. This opportunity is located near Lockport, NY, within a district committed to in-person excellencevirtual/VOCO support is not an option, as the schools focus is entirely on onsite, hands-on instruction for students. Your workweek will consist of 37.5 hours, Monday through Friday, with your day beginning at 8:55 AM EST and concluding by 4:45 PM EST, minus a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. This schedule covers both direct and indirect service time, ensuring a well-balanced approach to student care and required documentation.
Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active
ASHA CCC
certification. At least two years of prior experience in a school setting. Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring. Confidence providing independent assessment and therapy with minimal guidance. Passion for making a difference and adaptability to jump in and make an immediate impact.
Position Duties:
Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic services to a caseload of 21 students. Maintain all required documentation and manage IEP paperwork efficiently. Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress. Demonstrate strong organizational skills, balancing therapy, consultation, and reporting responsibilities. Engage actively in school-based meetings and contribute as a valued team member.
