Two full-time contract positions are now open to cover leaves of absence starting this fall and winter, providing support in high school, middle school, and non-public school environments. Each Opportunity:
First position: Full-time from the start of October to the end of January (12 weeks) serving primarily a high school, with some work at a non-public school (approximately 70/30 split).
Second position:
Full-time from end of November to end of January (12 weeks) at a middle school site. Both roles include 7-8 student sessions per day, scheduled planning time, and an assigned free lunch duty.
Desired Experience and Certifications:
Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required State teaching certification plus appropriate licensure for NY Prior experience in school-based settings preferred Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Flexibility to provide services across different ages and school environments Ability to work exclusively onsite for the entirety of the contract
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct speech-language evaluations and deliver therapy services to assigned students Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Consult with educators and families on student language and communication needs Maintain accurate records per school and district guidelines Participate in school-team meetings and provide support as needed during the school day Step into a rewarding role supporting students, collaborating with educators, and making a tangible impact in a vibrant school community.
