A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Long Island Speech is hiring now for Speech Language Pathologists to work a short shift in our New Hyde Park office on Saturdays 8:30 am•2:00 pm! To apply, please submit your resume to: HR@lispeech.com Job Overview We are seeking licensed SLP's to join our exceptional team of therapists as we support patients all across Long Island providing Speech-Language, feeding, voice, and Myofunctional Therapy services. Our office has its own secretarial staff to schedule all appointments and take care of administrative duties. At Long Island Speech we provide a supportive work environment for our therapists, offering professional development and growth opportunities, continuing education, ASHA CEUs, and a diversified caseload!

Hourly Compensation:
