Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP/CFY) - Full-Time Eastern Star Home and Campus |
Oriskany, NY CFY:
$30/hour, increasing to $38/hour after 9 months | Full-Time | Benefits Post Rehab is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join the rehabilitation team at Eastern Star Home and Campus. Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply. This opportunity provides hands-on experience working with residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing needs in a supportive skilled nursing and post-acute care environment. What You'll Do Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing needs Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident abilities and functional goals Provide skilled interventions addressing communication, cognition, and dysphagia Monitor resident progress and modify treatment approaches when appropriate Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic strategies Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with PT, OT, nursing, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team What We Offer CFY starting rate: $30/hour Rate increases to $38/hour after 9 months Full-time position Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off and holiday pay Continuing education support Collaborative rehabilitation environment Valuable experience with a diverse skilled nursing caseload Opportunities for continued professional growth Qualifications Graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program New York licensure or appropriate eligibility required Strong communication, organization, and clinical skills Interest in working with adult and geriatric rehabilitation populations CFY candidates and experienced SLPs are welcome to apply If you're beginning your career as a CFY or looking to continue growing as an SLP, this is an opportunity to build valuable clinical experience while making a meaningful difference in residents' lives.
