Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the current school year. This full-time position (37.5 hours per week) begins as soon as possible and extends through the end of the school year, allowing you to make a meaningful impact in students' lives while working in a collaborative educational environment. Ideal candidates are passionate about promoting student success and are ready to work with diverse age groups and needs. Openings are available for both experienced Speech-Language Pathologists holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) and those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY).

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state license or eligibility to obtain appropriate licensure as required ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility to complete Clinical Fellowship (CFY) Comfortable working with K-12 students across varying ages and abilities Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students according to individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify communication disorders Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop strategies and support plans Maintain accurate records of student progress and intervention outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions as needed Foster a positive and encouraging environment to help students achieve their communication goals This contract opportunity offers you the chance to work in a supportive school-based setting with professional growth and hands-on experience.
