Key Qualifications:

Valid NY state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or actively pursuing CFY Experience or training in pediatric and school-based populations Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines Strong communication and documentation skills Adaptability to serve diverse student needs in K-12 settings Understanding of IEP processes (training provided if needed)

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students across two sites Complete thorough evaluations and contribute to IEP development Participate in team meetings, with paid time for required administrative tasks Document progress and maintain compliance with school and state regulations Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary staff Travel as needed between assigned school sites (mileage compensated) Engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities This contract opportunity embraces both seasoned SLPs and those in their CFY, offering mentorship, administrative support, and paid team meetings.
