Job Description Metro's Speech Department continues to grow, and we are looking for a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to work in our Rockville Center & Bellmore clinics. The position is 30 hours per week split 2 days in each clinic. Caseload is mixed and demographics include Aphasia, Dysphagia, Pediatrics, TBI, Voice, Cognitive Communication Disorders, AAC use, etc. Experience with both adults and pediatrics is required.

Mon-Thurs Work setting: Outpatient Clinic Metro is looking for a motivated, compassionate, forward-thinking Speech Therapist who excels at assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses and devising creative but effective treatment plans. We're looking for flexible and all-in teammates who are excited by the opportunity to take on emerging challenges. Qualifications Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York or eligible. Evaluates a patient's need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan. Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy, and professional standards of care. Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques &
