Key Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain) Strong understanding of evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders within a school environment Excellent organization, interpersonal, and communication skills Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and engaging with families and teachers Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred but not required

Primary Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with school guidelines Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions based on student needs Maintain timely and accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports Engage and collaborate with educators, special education staff, and parents to support student progress Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Educate staff and families on strategies for supporting students speech and language development Perks of the
