Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy for pediatric clients with a variety of communication disorders. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation, including evaluations, daily treatment notes, progress reports, and plan-of-care updates. Educate, coach, and collaborate with parents and caregivers to support carryover of therapy goals at home. Communicate effectively with physicians, teachers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, psychologists, and other professionals as appropriate. Participate in multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure coordinated, child-centered care. Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical outcomes and best practices. Maintain current knowledge of evidence-based treatment techniques and New York State licensure requirements through continuing education. Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and ethical practice in accordance with ASHA's Code of Ethics and all applicable state and federal regulations.
