Job Description

Shape the summer for students by providing essential support as a part-time Speech Language Pathologist for an Extended School Year (ESY) program in the Syracuse, NY area. This contract opportunity allows you to engage with diverse student populations across multiple caseloads and sites, making a real impact during the crucial summer months. Collaborate with dedicated professionals and help students enhance their communication skills in a dynamic and supportive educational environment.
Desired Qualifications:
Current and valid license as a Speech Language Pathologist in New York NY Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certification Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred Prior experience within K-12 school settings or ESY/summer programs is a plus Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively across multiple sites
Primary Duties:
Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy sessions to students with a range of speech and language challenges Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and regulatory guidelines Consult and collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress Service multiple caseloads at various program sites, adapting instruction and supports to meet individual needs Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and professional development as required Foster an inclusive, positive, and engaging therapy environment
