9681899-14580 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a dynamic educational environment. Two full-time positions are available, providing essential speech and language services to elementary or high school students. These roles begin as soon as possible and will continue until a permanent hire is made internally.

There are two openings:

Wheatland-Chili TJ Connor Elementary, working primarily with elementary students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Wheatland-Chili Jr/Sr High, serving high school students with intellectual disabilities Enjoy the benefits of collaborating with dedicated school teams while working a convenient Monday-Friday schedule. Hours will be determined upon placement.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Experience in school settings, preferably with contract or travel assignments Strong background supporting either ASD elementary populations or high-schoolers with intellectual disabilities, depending on your preference Exceptional communication, documentation, and interdisciplinary team skills

Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech-language therapy services to your assigned caseload. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success. Maintain timely records and progress reports in compliance with school policies and special education law. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school community.
