Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position working with diverse student populations in a supportive educational environment. We're seeking two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to begin as soon as possible, serving students at both the elementary and high school levels. These full-time roles are ideal for compassionate professionals who thrive on making a meaningful impact while collaborating closely with school teams. Role A focuses on elementary students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, providing individualized support to maximize their communication potential at an engaging school setting. Role B offers the opportunity to work with high school students with Intellectual Disabilities, guiding them toward success both in and beyond the classroom. Each assignment continues until a permanent hire is made, ensuring consistent care for students and allowing you to apply your expertise fully.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related area Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Relevant state licensure or eligibility Experience in school-based SLP settings strongly preferred Comfort working with ASD (elementary) or Intellectual Disabilities (high school) caseloads Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans Deliver direct and consultative SLP services tailored to each student's needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff for coordinated student progress Maintain detailed records and progress notes as required by school and regulatory standards Support inclusive educational practices within the school community These positions allow you to shape students' learning journeys, develop innovative strategies, and build valuable professional relationships.
