9650935-44122 Job Description Make an impact working with students as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist supporting a maternity leave. This contract position offers the chance to work in a collaborative school environment with dedicated professionals, helping students achieve their communication goals. Ideal candidates hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), though recent graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship (CF) will also be considered. Youll work closely with students, families, and staff to assess, diagnose, and build effective treatment plans that foster student success.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA highly preferred; Clinical Fellows (CF) encouraged to apply Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure Strong communication and organizational skills Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to students with varied needs Conduct thorough evaluations and document findings Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions This is a rewarding opportunity to help students during an important period in their education, while gaining valuable experience and building professional relationships in a supportive environment.
