Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working PRN in a home health setting! In this vital role, you will provide expert speech and language therapy services to diverse patient populations, including pediatric and geriatric clients. Duties Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for patients across age groups, including children with developmental delays and adults with speech impairments. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized speech-language therapy plans aligned with patient needs and goals. Deliver engaging therapy sessions via telehealth or in-person, utilizing evidence-based techniques to improve speech, language, voice, fluency, and cognitive-communication skills. Collaborate effectively with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care and optimal therapy outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment progress, and patient responses using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. Educate patients and families on communication strategies, physiology of speech mechanisms, and exercises to support ongoing progress at home. Stay current with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and best practices in speech-language pathology to provide high-quality care. Must have a valid and in good standing SLP license
