Qualifications and Skills:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as required for school-based practice Prior experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities Adaptability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions addressing a variety of speech and language disorders Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to enhance student progress Maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state guidelines Contribute to IEP meetings and periodic reviews Provide resources and consultation for staff and caregivers to support communication goals Perks of the
