As a Speech-Language Pathologist working under a contract arrangement, youll collaborate with an engaged educational team to deliver essential speech services to learners. Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome Prior experience in a school setting is a plus, though not required Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with students, faculty, and families Ability to adapt therapy techniques to support a diverse range of learners
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each students unique needs Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes Maintain accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance with IEP requirements Conduct screenings and participate in assessment activities as needed Engage in meetings with parents and staff to review progress and provide recommendations This contract position allows for flexibility in your schedule and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference within a supportive school community.
