This is a full-time, contract opportunity working closely with students to ensure they reach their fullest potential in communication and academic success. You'll collaborate with dedicated educators and support staff while enjoying a structured schedule throughout the academic year.
Qualifications and Experience Were Looking For:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active and valid SLP licensure for the state of Ohio Previous experience working in a school environment preferred Knowledge of IEP process and related documentation Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work with diverse student populations across K-12 Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads effectively
Your Role Will Include:
Conducting assessments and evaluations for students with speech, language, and communication needs Developing individualized therapy plans and tracking measurable progress toward specific goals Delivering direct speech-language therapy services in small group and one-on-one settings Consulting with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success Maintaining accurate records and timely reports in compliance with school and district policies Participating in IEP meetings and providing expertise to multidisciplinary teams Educating families and staff on communication strategies that support student development In this position, you will enjoy a consistent, full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, with the opportunity to make a direct impact in the school community.
