Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP license in the state of Ohio or eligibility to obtain one Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants considered Prior experience working in a school environment is highly desirable Strong communication, organization, and teamwork abilities Capacity to adapt therapy techniques to the needs of diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff and families Provide direct speech therapy services to students ranging from preschool to high school Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of student progress and services rendered Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to share insights and strategize effective interventions Educate teachers and families on strategies to support communication development in the classroom and at home Stay current with best practices and legal requirements relevant to school-based speech-language services This role offers the flexibility to make a direct impact within a supportive school community, work alongside dedicated educational professionals, and continue developing your expertise.
