Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a dynamic school setting near Marion, OH. Required Credentials and Experience:
Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) from ASHA State licensure to practice as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain upon offer) School-based experience preferred, but motivated candidates from other backgrounds will be considered Strong communication, organizational, and report-writing skills Familiarity with IEP processes and special education documentation is a plus Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
Key Duties and Daily Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy services to students with a range of speech, language, and communication disorders Perform screenings, evaluations, and comprehensive assessments Develop and update individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff on student progress and classroom strategies Accurately document services, maintain compliant records, and participate in IEP meetings Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge On offer is a contract position with full-time hours and opportunities for professional growth.
