Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time position offers an opportunity to provide speech-language pathology services within a vibrant middle school setting in Marion, OH. The role focuses on supporting students with diverse communication needs throughout the full 26/27 school year. With a caseload capped at 80 students, the position allows for meaningful, individualized intervention and collaboration with educational staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services to middle school students. Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of communication strategies for students.
Qualifications:
Must hold a valid Ohio Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in speech-language pathology or be in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status. Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a middle school environment. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage a caseload of up to 80 students efficiently.
Position Details:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week. Contract for the entire 26/27 school year. Located in Marion, Ohio.
