Job Description

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time position is available for a Physical Therapist specializing in school-based services, located in Marion, OH. This contract role offers the opportunity to work 37.5 hours per week supporting students from Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade with an Elementary School (ES) placement caseload. There are two openings available for qualified candidates.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Ohio Physical Therapist (PT) license is required. Experience in pediatric physical therapy, preferably within school settings. Ability to manage caseloads from Pre-K to 5th grade. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and school staff. Knowledge of school-based therapy regulations and documentation.

Marion, Ohio Responsibilities:
Provide therapeutic interventions and support to students in Pre-K through 5th grade to enhance their physical abilities and participation in school activities. Evaluate, assess, and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to promote student success within the school environment. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with educational and therapeutic guidelines. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.
