Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at Forest Hill Healthcare & Rehabilitation. In this role, you will work closely with patients of various diagnoses, providing essential speech therapy services to enhance their communication abilities and overall quality of life. This position comes with a starting pay rate of $50 an hour The typical schedule for this opportunity is Monday through Friday with flexible start and end times based on caseload. This opportunity is a PRN position but may require you to see clients at multiple communities in a dedicated area. vaccines Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech and language abilities. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. Implement therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care. Educate patients and families about speech therapy processes and techniques. Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Document patient progress and maintain accurate records. Requirements Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field. Current state licensure as a Speech Therapist. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy related to speech therapy. Experience in patient assessment and individualized treatment planning. Familiarity with pediatric speech therapy is a plus. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and families.
