A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist during the 2026/2027 school year! This full-time position offers the chance to work across three school buildings, supporting students from PreK up to 10th grade. You'll manage a caseload that is intentionally kept below the state's full load recommendations, ensuring you have more time to deliver quality interventions and individualized care. Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates are warmly encouraged to apply and grow their experience in a collaborative educational setting.

Qualifications & Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Hold or ability to obtain appropriate state licensure or certification for school-based SLP practice Open to both seasoned SLPs and enthusiastic Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered intervention Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, teachers, and families

Key Responsibilities:

Provide diagnostic assessments, therapy, and consultative services for students with speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with state guidelines Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across three school buildings, contributing to a cohesive learning environment Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with educational policies and best practices Support children across a variety of ages and abilities, with caseloads that allow for focused attention
