Job Description
Hopewell Health Centers is a nationally accredited federally qualified health and community mental health center with 23 sites across TEN counties throughout Southeastern Ohio (Athens, Franklin, Gallia, Hocking, Jackson, Meigs, Perry, Ross, Vinton, and Washington). We are currently seeking a Family Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Lancer Care Clinic (school based clinic). As a Family Certified Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant you will in collaboration with Hopewell Health Centers, Inc. physician(s) provide preventive and primary healthcare services. Care provided will be consistent with the nurse's education and certification and in accordance with the rules adapted by the Ohio Board of Nursing and section 4723.43 of the Ohio Nursing Revised code. Some responsibilities include but are not limited to: Participate in supervision of ancillary staff Participate in development and implementation of Health Care Plan, QA, Participate Health Education Plan and Outreach Programs. Liaison between Hopewell Health Centers, Inc. and community Required to receive OSHA training, annual Mantoux testing, to be in attendance of monthly clinicians/administrative practice management meeting unless excused by Chief Medical Officer or Chief Executive Officer. Other duties as outlined in Contract and Scope of Practice.

Eligible to work in the United Stated Having completed an accredited medical school, accredited residency training program and maintains a current unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the state which they practice. Current unrestricted DEA license is required Specialty Board Certification is desirable Graduate of a an accredited Registered Nursing Program Current Ohio License for Registering Nursing Graduate of an accredited Nursing Practitioner Program Board Eligible or Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner Maintains continuing education units as required by the State of Ohio Maintains requirements for a Nurse Practitioner with the Ohio Board of Nursing What are some of the benefits of working for Hopewell Health Centers?
