Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist near Upper Sandusky, OH. This position is ideal for professionals eager to make an impact across K-12 settings, collaborating with educators and families to encourage communication growth in young learners. With a consistent 37.5 hours per week, you'll have the chance to develop meaningful relationships and provide dedicated care throughout the school year.
Qualifications:
Hold a current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for Ohio Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Previous school-based experience or a strong desire to work in educational environments Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-12 students with varying needs Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress towards IEP goals Complete thorough evaluations, re-evaluations, and documentation in accordance with state and district requirements Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student success Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights and recommendations Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with special education laws Perks of this
