9685315-43078 Job Description Step into a rewarding role supporting students as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist with the option to increase hours. This contract position, based near Urbana and in Sidney, OH, runs from ASAP through the end of Januarywith a strong possibility of extension for the remainder of the school year. By helping address both current and compensatory service needs, youll play a vital part in fostering student communication skills.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current Ohio SLP license required CCC-certified SLPs, new graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), and experienced school-based practitioners encouraged to apply Background in pediatric speech therapy preferred Previous experience providing services in schools ideal Open to candidates seeking travel assignments Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect speech therapy services to a diverse caseload of students Adapt interventions to individual student needs, focusing on achieving IEP goals Conduct regular assessments, provide progress updates, and maintain detailed documentation Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student progress Contribute to compensatory service planning to address missed therapy This opportunity offers an immediate start, with flexibility to transition from part-time to full-time based on service requirements.
