Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity offering the chance to make a significant impact on students' communication abilities. This role calls for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support children from Pre-K through 5th grade (ages 4-10) in an engaging school environment. Starting as soon as possible and continuing through May 20, 2027, this is an excellent fit for professionals looking for dependable, full-week schedules—working Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., for a total of 32 hours each week.
What We're Looking For:
Current Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license, with school experience preferred Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload as a case manager for 17 students Experience developing and tracking communication goals for school-age children Comfortable collaborating with other SLPs and staff, sharing responsibilities as part of a service team Effective communication and organizational skills Passion for supporting diverse learners in early education
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as case manager for 17 students, monitoring progress and facilitating meetings as needed Create individualized goals, provide therapy, and track outcomes for a total caseload that includes 41 additional students (responsibility shared with a Friday-only SLP) Develop and implement effective intervention plans in compliance with school policies Consult and communicate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure comprehensive support for each student Maintain thorough documentation for all services provided In this role, you'll help shape the foundation for lifelong communication skills for a broad range of young learners.
