9684031-73160 Job Description Step into an exciting contract role working with K-5 students and help make a meaningful difference in a school community near Oklahoma City, OK. This position offers the opportunity to utilize your specialized expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), working Monday through Thursday on a rewarding school-based caseload. Collaborate with educators, provide compassionate support to students, and help each child achieve their communication goals within a supportive academic environment.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP-CCC credential, with active licensure for the state Prior experience delivering speech/language services in a school setting, specifically at the elementary (K-5) level preferred Strong understanding of special education processes and IEP development Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills Positive, flexible attitude and commitment to fostering student growth
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders for K-5 students Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals Document and track student progress, maintaining thorough and timely records Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to promote student success Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to team-based decision-making Provide direct therapy services and consultative support in both individual and group settings This contract opportunity offers a schedule that allows for a healthy work-life balance, with Fridays off each week.
