9660817-97502 Job Description Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting young learners as a Full-Time Bilingual SLP for the 20262027 school year. This contract position offers the chance to make a significant difference for students in grades K3, while playing an important role in their academic and social development. Youll work directly with approximately 55 students, focusing on delivering therapeutic interventions tailored to meet each childs needs. Your bilingual skills will shine as you conduct essential evaluations and provide interpreting services for IEP meetings spanning kindergarten through fifth grade. This dynamic role lets you collaborate with educational teams, families, and diverse student populations within an energetic school environment.
Desired Background and Skills:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology State licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Bilingual proficiency (Spanish-English preferred) Previous schools-based SLP experience strongly valued Expertise with IEP development, K5 IEP interpreting, and direct therapeutic interventions Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 55 K3 students Strong communication, cultural competence, and collaborative mindset
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to K3 students Conduct bilingual evaluations and assessments Serve as interpreter during IEP meetings for K5 students, ensuring accurate communication Write and update IEPs, participate in eligibility and progress meetings Collaborate effectively with teaching staff, administrators, and families
