v9660817-97502 Job Description A full-time bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 20262027 school year in Central Point, OR, focused on supporting students in grades K3. This contract role centers on delivering comprehensive speech therapy services within an educational setting using telespeech technology and traditional school-based methods. Key responsibilities include providing direct therapy to a caseload of approximately 55 students, conducting bilingual evaluations, and interpreting for Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings for K5 students. The role requires delivering services tailored to meet the diverse communication needs of young learners, ensuring compliance with educational regulations and IEP goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Oregon SLP license and certification Proven experience in school-based speech-language pathology Fluency in English and a second language to conduct bilingual evaluations and interpreting Proficiency in telespeech and teletherapy platforms to facilitate remote service delivery Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and IEP development Ability to manage a caseload effectively while maintaining accurate records and documentation
