This contract position welcomes both full-time and part-time professionals. Work directly with a diverse student groupsupporting approximately 55 pupils in grades K3while collaborating across K5 for bilingual IEP interpreting and evaluations. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure and SLP-CCC credential Fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to conduct bilingual assessments and communicate with students and families Strong background in educational or healthcare-based SLP services Experience working with young children, preferably in schools Comfort with virtual platforms and willingness to provide remote services if needed Culturally responsive approach to serving diverse communities and collaborating on multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, evidence-based speech and language therapy to elementary students, focusing on K3 students with a variety of communication needs Conduct high-quality bilingual evaluations and assessments Interpret IEP meetings and documentation for K5 students and families, ensuring understanding and inclusion Collaborate actively with educators, support staff, and caregivers to develop and implement individualized education plans Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and comply with all special education regulations Participate in ongoing professional development and district initiatives Enjoy the opportunity to inspire growth and confidence among students, working in a supportive, collaborative environment.
