9660817-97524 Job Description Make a meaningful impact in the 20262027 school year by providing speech and language support to young learners as a full-time bilingual SLP on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to serve a diverse caseload of approximately 55 students in grades K3, fostering communication growth at a pivotal stage of development. You will play a vital part in a supportive school environment while using your linguistic expertise to bridge gaps for bilingual students and families.
Qualifications & Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP licensure/certification for the state Bilingual proficiency required ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience working in elementary school settings, especially K3 Skilled in conducting bilingual evaluations Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation Comfort working collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Your Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of about 55 students (grades K3) Complete thorough, culturally-responsive bilingual evaluations Provide interpretation services for IEP meetings (K5) Develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals targeting students communication needs Monitor student progress and maintain proper, timely documentation Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success Engage in ongoing professional development, staying current with best practices in bilingual SLP services Imagine yourself making a difference every school day, helping children develop critical communication skills and advocating for bilingual learners.
