9505721-97133 Job Description Step into a rewarding, full-time contract opportunity supporting students during the 2026-2027 academic year. Make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, CCC) working with elementary school learners in kindergarten through 5th grade. In this role, you'll provide critical speech and language interventions and help shape individualized education plans for approximately 80-85 students. Enjoy the support of a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) as you focus on delivering quality care and guidance. Youll anchor your work at a primary site, with the opportunity to assist students at a nearby charter school as well. This position invites you to collaborate closely with educational teams, families, and your SLPA to ensure every childs success.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Valid state licensure or eligibility as an SLP Experience in school-based settings and working with K-5th graders preferred Previous leadership in IEP meetings and supervising SLPA staff a plus Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for speech and language disorders Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs Lead IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and families Supervise and mentor a full-time SLPA, delegating tasks appropriately Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress Serve students at one main campus and assist at a charter school as needed This contract assignment will allow you to use your expertise, creativity, and leadership to support a diverse student population, backed by enthusiastic administrative support and a collaborative environment.
