9505721-97048 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract role designed for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) eager to make a genuine impact. This full-time position for the 20262027 school year serves K5th grade students and promises a collaborative environment with meaningful support. Youll oversee services for approximately 8085 students, working primarily at one main site and also providing expertise at a local charter school. With a highly qualified full-time SLPA to assist, youll have the chance to focus on the most essential aspects of clinical practice and team leadership.
Key Skills and Experience:
Valid SLP-CCC certification required Previous school-based experience preferred, especially with elementary populations Strong understanding of evaluation tools, therapy approaches, and IEP processes Ability to lead and actively participate in IEP meetings Excellent communication and collaboration skills Experience providing supervision to SLPAs or similar support staff is a plus
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for referred students Develop and implement effective, individualized IEPs Lead IEP meetings and serve as a subject matter expert for families and staff Deliver direct therapy services to K5 students, adapting strategies to diverse learning needs Supervise and mentor a full-time SLPA in daily tasks and professional development Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other providers across two school environments Inspire growth and facilitate student success in a supportive, forward-thinking setting.
