9652226-97478 Job Description Make a meaningful difference this school year by bringing your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a welcoming K-12 district in the Oakridge area, conveniently located near Springfield. This full-time, in-person contract assignment supports students across multiple school buildings, primarily at the high school and elementary level. The caseload is well-documented as manageable, with students who have low behavioral needsgiving you the opportunity to truly focus on your clinical strengths and relationship-building. Your background as an SLP-CCC and your experience in school settings will be instrumental in helping students reach their communication goals. The right candidate values teamwork, excels with diverse learners, and thrives in a multi-site environment serving a supportive community.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Active state licensure (please ensure credentials are up to date). Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required. Experience in a school-based SLP role, preferably with K-12 students. Strong communication and organization skills. Comfortable working full-time on-site (no virtual or hybrid options).
Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and group speech and language therapy for K-12 students. Complete timely evaluations, progress reports, and documentation as required. Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to implement effective communication interventions. Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and school-based initiatives.
