Speech Language Pathologist (Casual) UPMC Cole | Coudersport, PA UPMC Cole is seeking a Casual Speech Language Pathologist to provide coverage on an as-needed basis for vacation coverage and fluctuations in patient caseloads. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SLP looking for a flexible schedule while making a meaningful impact on patient care. Candidates must possess their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). What You'll Do As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will evaluate and treat a variety of communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, including: Aphasia Voice disorders Speech and language disorders Cognitive-linguistic deficits associated with closed head injuries Memory and attention impairments Fluency disorders, including stuttering Aural rehabilitation Augmentative and alternative communication needs Oral and pharyngeal stage swallowing disorders Responsibilities Perform comprehensive speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide skilled speech pathology treatment services to patients across a variety of settings and diagnoses. Obtain and document pertinent patient histories, evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes. Coordinate evaluations, scheduling, and treatment programs for patients receiving speech therapy services. Prepare diagnostic and evaluative reports with recommendations. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements. Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and departmental initiatives. Support organizational policies, HIPAA regulations, and the UPMC Code of Conduct. Maintain productivity standards while delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.
