UPMC Cole is seeking either a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a casual, as-needed basis. This position provides coverage for vacations, leaves of absence, and fluctuations in patient volume across our outpatient clinics and inpatient rehabilitation services. Coverage opportunities may be available at our rehabilitation locations in Coudersport, Port Allegany, Shinglehouse, and Smethport. Schedule Casual, as-needed position Variable daylight hours based on department needs Coverage opportunities in both outpatient and inpatient settings What You'll Do As a member of our rehabilitation team, you'll help patients improve mobility, restore function, manage pain, and achieve their highest level of independence. Key Responsibilities Provide physical therapy services within the scope of your professional licensure. Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans (PT). Implement treatment plans and therapeutic interventions under the direction of a Physical Therapist (PTA). Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as appropriate. Educate patients and caregivers on treatment goals, rehabilitation plans, and home exercise programs. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care. Complete accurate and timely documentation. Participate in departmental meetings, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives. Maintain a strong commitment to patient safety, customer service, and exceptional clinical care.
